Squier’s Affinity line-up represents the most accessible way to play a genuine Fender-inspired guitar. Perfect for beginner musicians, these limited edition instruments are the real deal straight off the bat - and something you don't come across all too often!
The FSR Affinity Strat is a distillation of the timeless S-style design. This particular model has a more unusual set of humbucker and two single coil pickups, as well as 5-way switching and a gorgeous natural finish to boot.
Construction
As you’d expect from a limited edition guitar, the Squier Strat opts for an alder body with a comfortable maple neck and medium jumbo frets. This is super easy to pick up and play, no matter your ability or preferences. There’s nothing better than a guitar that feels familiar as soon as it’s in your hands - the laurel fretboard is the finishing touch.
Sound
This is where the Squier comes into its own over other rival brands. The Affinity Strat is kitted out with a chunky sounding humbucker and two twangier single coil pickups. That means you get a diverse array of tones; from dynamic vintage character to a thick rock drive.
Hardware
A 6-saddle floating tremolo is akin to the bridge first used for '50s Strats. It provides further accessible vibrato sounds to spice up your playing.
